      <image:title>Our Team - María José Nevárez</image:title>
      <image:caption>Founder &amp; Ethical Business Developer María is originally from the city of Quetzaltenango in Guatemala and currently lives in Arlington, Virginia. She envisioned the creation of INDIGART during her business studies at Jönköping University in Sweden, and made it a reality when she immigrated to the United States. María has many years of experience in the non-profit and multilateral sectors managing education and social development projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. María is also a graduate in International Education Policy at Harvard University, and her academic focus has been education for vulnerable populations in Guatemala. María has visited at least forty countries, and travels to Guatemala at least once a year.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Creative Director &amp; Lead Fashion Designer A native of Söderhamn, Nathali is half Ecuadorian and half Swedish, and has worked in the fashion industry in Paris, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Berlin. She has a degree in fashion design from the Swedish School of Textiles, and presented her graduation collection at the Stockholm and London Fashion Weeks. Nathali has experience in knit, weft and redesign. Nathali is a vocal member of the LGBTQ+ community and all projects under her management are always inclusive of this community.</image:caption>
